- My name is Minghan Yao and I am an international econ major in sixth college.
- I am studying this course cause it’s for GE and I want to learn knowledge about East Asia history.
- I am excited about learning knowledge about East Asia history because I want to know the history of East Asia and learn it from a different perspective.
- I am worried that I cannot fully understand some readings or some videos, but I will try my best to complete all assignments.
- I will go to the beach or play games at home if it is too hot.
- In my opinion, racial capitalism gains benefits through unequal power. As stated in the video, in order to allow enough criminals in the prison garden to gain benefits. ‘use the state to get what they want. there has to be a steady stream of criminals of those eligible to be categorized as criminal.’
- Abolitionist geography refers to the revolutionary struggle based on a specific area and community. Just like Wilson Gilmore’s example, despite changes in local housing policies, residents still find it difficult to live in their former homes.
